Arthur Pounder has been around computers most of his adult life and even once worked as a junior computer programmer, (BASIC), writing software for school children; before meeting a fashion consultant who agreed that he would look good in camouflage and a blue ceremonial uniform.
After a significant period of jumping out of perfectly serviceable aircraft, enforced adventure training holidays to exotic lands watching the sunrise over the desert, Arthur realised that he would need to find sanity and entered a mid-life career change. Taking the plunge he decided that working for a small telecoms company would be less of a challenge. But with his inevitable sense of timing, (you just know that something was going to go wrong – he only arrives on the scene when there’s going to be trouble), he arrived just in time not only for the Christmas party but also as the bubble burst and the stock price fell through the floor ! ..
Arthur will openly admit he never intended to start a career in Support. He originally started in December 2000 as Service Delivery, and then stumbled into his current career within IT Support as a Desktop Support Engineer back in 2002, and has successfully held several rolls within the same company ever since.
Arthur is passionate about IT, and will listen to everyone's views; where he says it's the only way to learn
He just asks one thing ... Just take him as you find him ...
